Family Farming and Research - All the Videos
As part of the International Year of Family Farming (IYFF) declared by the United Nations for 2014, the research institutions of Montpellier’s hub (Agropolis International) was hosting International Meetings from 1st to 3rd June at the Corum (Montpellier)

TheInternational Family Farming Meeting co-organized with the CGIAR Consortium, the Global Forum on Agriculture Research (GFAR) and the World Rural Forum (WRF) and supported by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the French Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Forestry and various national and international organizations, took place in Montpellier last June.

The main purposes of these Meetings were

  • fostering exchanges between representatives of family farming, decision makers from the political and private sectors, representatives of civil society, trainers and researchers throughout the world,
  • questioning and enhancing research agendas dealing with family farming issues and the challenges of global change (society, economics, food security, urbanization, human mobility and migrations, nutrition and health, climate, ...).
