Manifesto for the Education in Environmental Science for Sustainable Development
The Montpellier SupAgro Institute for Innovative Education in Agro-Environment in Florac has actively taken part in the drafting of a manifesto for the Education in Environmental Science for Sustainable Development (EEDD) to be submitted to the European parliament.

250 professionals from twenty countries participated in a Pan European three day event on Education in Environmental Studies and Sustainable Development held in Barcelona at the beginning of October. A European Network is now under construction.

Six countries were deeply implicated in the creation of this manifesto.

For France: Le Réseau École et Nature - GRAINE Rhône-Alpes - Collectif Français pour l’Éducation à l’Environnement vers un Développement Durable (CFEEDD) - Ligue de l’Enseignement and Montpellier SupAgro, Institute for Innovative Education in Agro-Environment in Florac.
For Greece: Polis - International Network in Environmental Education.
For Italy: "eco", Istituto per l'Ambiente e l'Educazione Scholé Futuro Onlus.
For Portugal: Lisboa E-Nova - Agencia Municipal de Energia-Ambiente de Lisboa,
For Belgium: le réseau IDEE and
For Spain: Tekieroverde.

The European parliament and the parliaments of European member states will receive a

copy of the manifesto containing the twenty propositions agreed upon during this meeting.
